Sami Al-Hakimi is a Project Coordinator at the Sana’a Center for Strategic Studies. His background is in youth and community participation with extensive experience designing youth projects and strategies with civil society in Yemen. Sami has managed projects in the peace, development and humanitarian fields, working with several NGOs and INGOs. He has also worked in knowledge production and training.
Sami is a member of the Youth Gender Innovation Agora (GIA) which was established by the UN Women Regional Office for Arab States as a consultative forum and a platform for dialogue with youth. He has authored several publications on youth engagement and volunteerism, including the Youth Activist Guide and the Community Committees Action Guide.
