Ziad Al-Eryani

Ziad Al-Eryani is the Washington, D.C., coordinator for the Sana’a Center for Strategic Studies, building and expanding the center’s relationships and coordinating with NGOs, international organizations and various US government departments.

Al-Eryani has lead a number of initiatives and campaigns in Washington to bring together various stakeholders to raise awareness on the humanitarian and economic crises in Yemen, as well as the need to protect the country’s cultural heritage.

Al-Eryani also consults for NGOs to facilitate development projects, with these initiatives having ranged from economic empowerment through promoting youth and women entrepreneurship, to the promotion of renewable energy hybrid mini-grid power stations in rural Yemen.
