The Sana’a Center for Strategic Studies is seeking communications, editorial and research interns to assist in its expansion of operations in Sana’a, Beirut, Washington D.C. and New York. Remote work is a possibility.
Duties will include:
Communications – The communications intern will assist in managing the Sana’a Center contact database, social media accounts and event planning, liaising with staff and partners in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.
Editorial – The editorial intern will provide assistance to the Sana’a Center editorial department, liaising with contributors and staff in revising and copy-editing research papers and analytical outputs.
Research – The research intern will provide assistance to the Sana’a Center Research and Analysis department, carrying out tasks including, but not limited to, media monitoring, interview assistance and data entry.
In all cases, a post-secondary education and/or relevant experience is a must; Arabic language skills and a familiarity with the country’s current dynamics are a plus.
