Marina de Regt is Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has more than 30 years of experience working in and about Yemen. Her main research interests include gender, labor and migration between Yemen and the Horn of Africa.
