Amanda is a former Research Fellow at the New York Office of the Sana’a Center for Strategic Studies, focused on mental health and the psychological impacts of war on individuals, families, and communities in Yemen.
Prior to joining the Sana’a Center, Amanda conducted psychosocial and child protection work with unaccompanied migrant children in Egypt and South Sudan.
Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Dartmouth College, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
