Faryal a civil engineer and activist in the community in several youth and cultural initiatives. She previously worked for the Afaq Shababia Foundation as a director of programs which included managing relief, peace building projects, and capacity building for youth initiatives. She believes in the role of youth in leading real change in society, and that building their capabilities and focusing on development projects is a priority for the recovery of Yemen.
