Samah Alkhader is the Secretary General of the Yemeni Women’s Union (YWU) in Shabwa, and a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Education, Shabwa University. She has worked with the YWU in Shabwa since 2008, providing legal, psychological and healthcare support for women in Shabwa, especially to victims of gender-based violence.
