Dialogue Platforms
Yemen Justice Network
About the platform
The YJN brings together diverse actors to strengthen coordination, reduce fragmentation, and give greater coherence and cumulative learning to transitional justice efforts in Yemen. It works to align and refine emerging understandings and approaches, grounding them in Yemen’s context and shaping transitional justice from the ground up through locally informed definitions and practice.
The network supports the development of a community of practice centered on a victim-focused, locally informed approach to justice. Through engagement in national and international arenas, the YJN advocates for more coherent and context-sensitive approaches to justice and reconciliation, and for a peace process more responsive to the needs and aspirations of affected communities.
