Dr. Sawsan Al-Refaei is a public policy, strategy, and advocacy expert with over 15 years of experience supporting governments, the United Nations, and international organizations across North America, Eastern Europe, and the MENA region. She specializes in governance, humanitarian planning, gender and racial equity, and the Women, Peace, and Security agenda. Dr. Al-Refaei holds a master’s degree in Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London School of Economics and a diploma in Population and Gender Studies from the University of Costa Rica.
