The Yemen Peace Forum

The Yemen Peace Forum (YPF) is a platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of Yemeni youth, women, and civil society leaders to engage in peacebuilding and policy processes.
2019 — Ongoing

About the platform

Established in 2019 by the Sana’a Center, the Yemen Peace Forum invests in emerging talent by supporting young leaders, women leaders, and civil society actors to develop the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to contribute effectively to peace and governance discussions. Through mentorship, peer learning, training, and collaborative exchange, the YPF helps participants strengthen their policy engagement, expand their professional networks, and build lasting connections across sectors and regions.

By facilitating connections to national, regional, and international policy circles, the YPF enables participants to bring their perspectives into policy discussions, engage with decision-makers, and play a more active role in shaping peacebuilding and governance agendas. In doing so, it contributes to a more inclusive and representative generation of Yemeni policy analysts, peacebuilders, and civic leaders.
