About the Role
The Sana’a Center is seeking a Logistics ِAssistant (Intern) to support the Logistics Department with the coordination and follow-up of day-to-day logistical and administrative activities. The intern will assist with event and activity arrangements, service requests, documentation, record-keeping, and other operational processes.
The role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in logistics and organizational operations while working closely with colleagues across different teams. The intern will contribute to ensuring that logistical arrangements and routine operational needs are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow up on travel and event-related logistical arrangements.
- Ensure required logistical documents are collected and processed on time, and provide timely updates and information to relevant parties.
- Respond to logistical inquiries and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely support.
- Support procurement processes, including coordinating requests, organizing documentation, and following up as required.
- Coordinate and follow up on service requests to ensure timely processing and completion.
- Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for requests, activities, and related information, ensuring timely follow-up and updates.
- Organize, file, and archive documents to ensure proper record-keeping, confidentiality, security, and easy retrieval when needed.
- Assist with other administrative and logistical tasks as required by the Support Manager to ensure the effective implementation of organizational activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, management, social sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience in logistics, administration, event coordination, or a related area is an asset.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Good organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up on requests, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
Internship Details:
- Reports to: HR & Support Manager
- Contract type: Internship Agreement
- Duration: 3 months, renewable based on the availability of funds.
- Location: Aden or Remote.
- Starting date: 1 December 2026.
